Rick Owens AW12 Metallic Gold Accessories Collection
As part of his AW12 ‘Mountain’ collection, avant-garde American designer Rick Owens has released this luxurious range of metallic gold finished accessories.
These unique accessories immediately caught our attention here at the FashionBeans HQ, with the chosen palette a far cry from the typical dark and somewhat monochromatic colour ways we are used to seeing from the designer.
The metallic range of accessories includes a variety of different items, from iPad and laptop cases to iPhone holders, bags and credit card holders.
Staying true to form, the range adheres to the designer’s signature minimalist approach, with minimal detail having been incorporated so as not to detract from the items themselves.
The piece that stood out to us here in the FashionBeans office was the iPhone holder. Although many designer brand and retailers are releasing their own interpretation on classic iPhone holders, this Rick Owens piece, in our opinion, is in a league of its own.
Creating an undeniable sense of luxury through its metallic gold finish, this premium leather iPhone holder features an innovative cut away section to the top and side, not only separating itself from its predecessors on the market but also allowing the iPhone to be inserted, removed and accessed with ease.
Finished with gold stitch detailing and an embossed Rick Owens logo to the front, this is certainly one iPhone case we will be looking to invest in!
