It’s sort of refreshing when you see subscriber covers. They’re free of the masses of text that clutter up the covers on the shelves, and can have a beautifully minimalist look about them.
What’s also refreshing is Julia Stegner covered in the volumes of fluffy red that makeup Alexander McQueen’s fall 2012 gown, complete with futuristic metal glasses. It’s refreshing because she’s not wearing it with drama: instead she’s smiling.
